New copyright law in Germany

As of 1st March 2018, a new copyright law comes into effect in Germany and will introduce new copyright rules for schools, universities, libraries and other educational institutions.

The page iRights.info provides information (in German) about these changes, such as: online teaching resources, research and data mining, citations and illustrations, libraries, etc.

The Technical University of Darmstadt also has information on the effects of the new copyright on teaching, such as this chart:

CC-BY-SA Anne Fuhrmann-Siekmeyer, Universität Osnabrück; angepasst von E-Learning-Arbeitsgruppe TU Darmstadt; Stand: März 2018.

The picture in full resolution is available on the original website of the Technical University of Darmstadt.
