A workshop about open access took place on 2nd and 3rd November 2017 at the Specialised Information Service for African Studies at the Frankfurt University Library.
Topics included open access and copyright, best practice models of open access publishing, as well as open access initiatives of research centres such as the GIGA German Institute of Global and Area Studies, the Cluster “Asia and Europe” at the University of Heidelberg, and the Specialised Information Service Middle East, North Africa and Islamic Studies.
