Citing websites

You want to cite websites in your research and want to make sure that, when someone reads your work in the future, they don’t hit “page not found” notifications when websites move or are deleted?

You can avoid quoting quote unstable URLs as sources when citing web pages as sources by archiving the page first using the Internet Archive (also known as the Internet WayBack Machine Archive).

The Internet Archive is a digital library that works with a Google Chrome extension to (publicly) archive websites with one click, making it possible to cite stable URLs.
