This year’s Peer Review Week (PRW) is taking place 11-17 September around the theme “Transparency in peer review”. As a global event celebrating the essential role that peer review plays in maintaining scientific quality, Peer Review Week will consist of virtual and in-person events including webinars, interviews and social media activities. The event brings together individuals, institutions, and organizations committed to sharing the central message that good peer review, whatever shape or form it might take, is critical to scholarly communications. Some of them will also be gathering in Chicago for the Peer Review Congress (PRC), an international event that is held every four years.
